Asintado: Week 3 Recap – Part 1

Despite the controversy surrounding Sen. Reynoso’s death, Salvador manages to clear his name and regain the public’s trust. Alarmed, Xander becomes even more determined to carry out his mission. In need of more trusted allies, he recruits the children of Salvador’s victims. Meanwhile, Samantha succeeds in winning Gael back. Ana, on the other hand, finally regains consciousness after six months, remembering all the ordeals she went through under the hands of Miranda and Salvador.

Ana despairs at the fate she and her father Vicente met at the hands of Salvador. Burning with anger, Ana vows to make the senator pay for his crimes. Celeste’s group resolves to help Ana as they carefully lay out their plans to bring Salvador down. Soon, Ana starts working on her recovery. Meanwhile, Salvador finds a way to win over supporters.

Samantha remains worried over the possibility that Gael will leave her in the future. Unable to stand the thought of losing him, Samantha seeks Miranda’s help. Convinced that Gael is a good person, Ana desperately tries to contact him. Celeste and Xander, however, remain doubtful that Salvador’s prodigy can be trusted. Meanwhile, Salvador initiates his deceptive scheme in his efforts to raise his popularity.
